Magic: The Gathering has been around since 1993, a long-standing staple of the tabletop sphere that holds a lot of fond memories for a lot of folks.

Much like D&D, we know that there's some pretty hefty barriers to getting into MtG, from the rules to having to build a deck. And, much like with D&D, we wanted to make it easier than ever to get around those barriers.
We'll have folks to play against who can teach you the rules, and decks you can rent for the night so you can learn to play without needing a whole deck's worth of money!

Do I need cards?
Nope! We have several decks available for folks to rent for just $5 for the night.
Of course, if you have decks you'd like to bring, feel free!
Is this a tournament?
Our MtG Nights are not tournament-style events.
While we do hope to some day run Booster Drafts, right now these nights are just casual events for folks to find new friends to play with!
Is there an age limit?
SKA events are 18+ events - while Magic: The Gathering is okay for younger players, our events are hosted in an alcohol-focused space and are frequently attended by adults.
Because we cannot promise that our events will be a safe space for younger players, we ask that players be 18 and older.
